Sia: il video del singolo dedicato alle vittime di Orlando
Si chiama The Greatest il nuovo singolo di Sia realizzato in colleborazione con Kendrick Lamar ed è un inno alla vita e alla resistenza.
il video del brano è stato rilasciato ieri su VEVO e come di consueto ha come protagonista la ballerina Maddie Ziegler, che abbiamo già trovato in numerosi video dell’artista. Insieme a Maddie si possono vedere altri bambini che ballano in un locale dismesso, lasciandosi andare alle usuali smorfie presenti nei video di Sia.
La prima clip vede un primo piano di Maddie con delle strisce arcobaleno sul viso ad indicare la lacrime. Il video è infatti un omaggio alle vittime della tragedia avvenuta nel locale gay Pulse di Orlando lo scorso 12 giugno, in cui 49 ragazzi persero la vita.
A confermare questa tesi nei minuti finali del video si vedono i ballerini stesi a terra e i fori di proiettili nella porta alle loro spalle. Nell’ultima clip si vede un primo piano di Maddie mentre piange con i colori ancora visibili sul volto.
